About us

The IGC Library houses a collection of 30 years of holdings of journals in the biomedical area. Currently, it provides local online access to more than 16.868 titles. The reading area has room for 30 users, 5 fully networked workstations and self-service copying. All copying and printing must be carried out in accordance with copyright laws.

Many seating areas in the IGC Library, have data ports and outlets conveniently at hand so that users with laptops can use them and connect to the internet for online reading.

The IGC Library is open to the public from 9.30 AM - 5.00 PM, Monday through to Friday. On registration, visitors may use the collection onsite and consult printed journals and the online catalog.

In no circumstances are books or journals to be taken away from the library. Please note that it is impossible for this library to send any copies of journal articles to its users whether by fax, mail or e-mail.
